from 4.00

St. Genevieve was a courageous peasant girl who was born in France. When Genevieve was only seven-years-old, St. Germanus, Bishop of Auxerre, singled her out and foretold her future sanctity. At her request, the holy Bishop consecrated her to God as a virgin.

Encouraged by Germanus, Genevieve dedicated her life to prayer, and asked to become a nun. She had great influence over the French political leaders and was considered a shepherd to the French people.
