Holy Family

The Holy Family depicts Mary and Joseph with the newborn Christ Child.

Joseph did everything to protect his family and to protect Christ. He fled to Egypt and traveled to Jerusalem when Mary was very far along in her pregnancy. The Lord often spoke to him in dreams and he would respond. How is the Lord speaking to you during this time of crisis? How is he asking you to care for the Christ Child in your home? What difficult things is the Lord asking of you? How can you respond with patience and fortitude like Joseph did?

The Holy Family desires you to be adopted into their family. He wants to hold you like he held his son, Jesus and protect you too. May you pray to Joseph today to alleviate any anxieties you may have towards caring for your family. May you ask him how to navigate difficulties and for his peacefulness to be upon you. Saint Joseph had anxieties too when he found out Mary was pregnant and was unsure of his future. He asked God to alleviate his fear and the Holy Spirit led him to the truth. Saint Joseph, pray for us during this time that we may be filled with peace like you. May the Holy Spirit lead us to the truth.
