This is a 5"x7" original sketch by Leanne Bowen. She originally painted it for practice before painting the image in a large fresco while studying in Florence, Italy. 

"Blessed is she who believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her." -Luke 1:45

The image shows Mary right after the angel greets her. It shows the Holy Spirit remaining after the angel has departed and her reverence remains. She reflects on the words that the angel has said to her. It is a reminder of our own call to holiness and allow the Christ Child into our lives.
