Heart of Living Water

This tiny painting is a personal one for me, coming straight from my own sketchbook and prayer. It is a 3.5"x3.5" watercolor sketch on watercolor paper. 

The image shows me, the artist as a little girl, sitting on the bank of the river. I have often felt the need to physically sit in the streams of living water that the Lord mentions in scripture. He always seems to be inviting me to do so. Whenever I linger in the streams of Christ's goodness, it is as if He gives me His very own heart. This image portrays the Heart of Jesus poured out upon me with His tender love.
