Saint Thérèse had a heart for missions and longed to travel the world to bring Christ to others. Although she lived in a cloistered convent, and never went on mission, she is known as one of the patron saints of missionaries. She is also known as the "Little Flower" because she promised she would spend her time in heaven doing good on earth, and sending little flowers to those in need. She also knew of her own littleness. She knew she was just a little flower, she wasn't a rose or a lily like the other great saints of her generation. But she also knew that without the little flowers, spring would loose its loveliness. May this little flower bring you immense inspiration in your life today! Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, pray for us.
