This piece is an image that the artist received in prayer. She is blinded by her own sin and holding the half eaten apple of her ancestors. She is reaching her hand into Christ's side like Thomas. In the moment she touches Christ, she is immediately held in the arms of the Holy Family. Mary wraps her mantle around her and flowers are placed on her head. The blind fold is removed and Jesus washes her feet. She is spiritually adopted into the Holy Family and held close, sin washed away!
