This piece is especially dear to the artist. It portrays her as a little girl, standing on the stool from her grandfather's work shop. She is looking down at little items from her life with great reverence. The top of the family tree trunk is lined with a rug made by her grandmother. The light hanging represents how her family has cast out darkness in her world. Her childhood home is in the background, and she is leaning over in great curiosity of what she may see!
